Alcon Solenoid Coils

The Alcon Solenoid Coils range are for general purpose applications. Standard versions and Hazardous versions available. Which can be supplied fitted to most valves within the Alcon range.

Features of Alcon Solenoid Coils Include:

• Special purpose solenoid valves are used for controlling gases or liquids where a potentially explosive gas/air mixture is present in the atmosphere for long periods or likely to occur in normal operation
• Alcon ameproof enclosures are suitable for hazardous areas Zone 1 and Zone 2, for the control of Group IIA, IIB, IIC gases

Applications include:

• Valves congured for Hazardous Areas
• User to consult all applicable codes, such as N.E.C., EU directive 99/92/EC, for denitions, performance and safety requirements associated with Hazardous Area Classication, Apparatus Group, Zones, Division and Temperature Classication
• Applicable to all catalogue valves except HNC, HNO, HWA, JNC, JNO and HP.
