On the 5th of July 2014 the youngest of Fine Controls staff, James Fitzpatrick, will be cycling stage 1 of the 'Tour de France Grand Départ 2014'.
The 104-mile route over the Yorkshire Dales from Leeds to Harrogate also includes 2700m of climbs, which we're sure you'd agree is no mean feat! (Mt. Snowdon is 1085m high!)
James is hoping to raise £600.00 for the charity Orchid Cancer. Established in 1996 by testicular cancer patient Colin Osborne, and the oncologist who saved his life, Professor Tim Oliver. The charity provides support to people affected by or interested in male cancers through funding a world-class research programme, awareness and education campaigns and a range of vital support services.
At present, James has raised 76% of his £600.00 target and with 3 days to go until his challenge begins we'd love it if you could spare a minute of your time and a pound of your money in sponsoring him! Every penny counts to life-saving charities such as Orchid and would be very much appreciated in helping James reach his goal! Click Here to go to James' 'Just Giving' page and donate!
